EarnX

Terms of Service

Last updated 28 September 2026Version 2026-09-28

These are the rules for using EarnX. They explain how you earn, when we can hold or take back a credit, how withdrawals work, what will get your account closed, and what we are and are not responsible for. Using EarnX means you agree to them. Please read the sections on reversals and withdrawals in particular, because those are the ones that decide what happens to your money.

About these terms

EarnX is operated by TigerTree Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16058881, registered office Unit A 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE. In these terms, we, us and our mean TigerTree Solutions Ltd, and you means the person using EarnX.

These terms form a contract between you and us. Our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Biometric Data Policy form part of that contract. Individual promotions and competitions may have their own rules, which apply in addition to these terms and take priority where they conflict.

EarnX is free. There is no subscription, no membership fee, and we never ask you to pay us to earn or to withdraw. If anything ever asks you to pay EarnX money, it is not us.

Who can use EarnX

To hold an account you must:

  • be at least 18 years old;
  • be legally able to enter into a contract where you live;
  • not be barred from using a service like this under the law of your country; and
  • not be a person or in a place we are prohibited from dealing with under applicable sanctions.

We confirm your age when you sign up. If we later find that an account holder is under 18, we will close the account and delete the personal information, and any balance on it will not be paid out.

Some features are not available everywhere. Where a feature is restricted for legal reasons, it will not appear for you. See Battles for the current example.

Your account

  • One account per person. One account per person and one per household. If we find several accounts run by the same person or from the same household, we may close all of them, not only the newer ones.
  • Accurate information. The details you give us must be true and kept up to date. That includes your payout details, which are your responsibility to get right.
  • Keep it secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Do not share your password. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you think someone else has access.
  • It is yours alone. You may not sell, rent, lend or transfer your account, or let anyone else use it.
  • Usernames. Do not use a name that impersonates someone, infringes a trade mark, or is offensive. We can change one that does.

How earning works

EarnX does not create the offers and surveys itself. We work with third party partners who supply them, and advertisers pay those partners when someone completes a task. We are paid a share and pass most of it to you.

  1. You pick an offer, survey or task and we send you to the partner.
  2. You complete whatever it asks. The requirements are set by the partner and the advertiser, not by us.
  3. The partner tells us you completed it and how much it is worth. This can be instant or can take days, depending on the partner.
  4. We credit your balance, subject to the review and hold rules below.
The partner decides whether you completed it. We can only credit you for something the partner has recorded, tracked and validated. If their tracking does not register your completion, or they reject it, we have no independent way to confirm what you did and we are not obliged to pay for it. We will always try to help chase it, and you can raise it with our support team, but the final call on whether a task was completed belongs to the partner and the advertiser.

Surveys sometimes end early. You may be screened out because you do not match what the researcher needs, or a survey may close when its quota fills. Some partners pay a small amount for a screen out and some pay nothing. That is normal in market research and it is not a fault in the service.

Reward amounts change. Partners adjust what they pay, offers are added and removed, and availability differs by country and device. We do not set what partners pay, and in rare cases a partner changes the value of an offer, or of a step within it, after you have started it, up or down. Where that happens, the value that applies is the most recent one at the time your completion is credited.

Your balance

  • Your balance is an internal record of what we owe you, held in points. One thousand points equals one US dollar. Amounts are shown in your chosen display currency, converted at the rate in force when you withdraw.
  • A balance is not a bank account, not electronic money, and not a stored value instrument. It earns no interest.
  • Balances cannot be transferred between accounts, sold, or given away, except through features we provide inside EarnX itself.
  • Some credits are not immediately withdrawable. Where that applies, the product tells you at the time.
  • We do not apply dormancy fees and we do not expire an earned balance for inactivity.

Reviews and holds

Not every credit is instant, and this is deliberate. Advertisers reverse fraudulent completions weeks after the event, so paying everything out immediately would mean paying out money we then lose.

  • Review. Offer completions are normally reviewed before they are credited. Most clear quickly and automatically.
  • Hold. Some completions are credited but held for a period before the money reaches your withdrawable balance. The default is 30 days and it can be longer for offer types with a high reversal rate. Where a hold applies, the release date is shown on the transaction.
  • Appeals. If a completion is held and you think it should not be, you can ask us to look again from the transaction itself. You can do this up to twice per transaction.
  • Surveys. Survey completions are usually credited straight away without a hold. That means a later reversal by the survey partner is recovered under the section below.

Reversals and clawbacks

A partner can tell us, after we have already credited you, that a completion was invalid, duplicated, fraudulent or charged back by the advertiser. When that happens the money has usually already left our account.

What we do about it:

  • We review it. A reversal opens a case. A person decides the outcome. It is not automatic.
  • We may absorb it. Where the reversal is not your fault and the amount is reasonable, we often take the loss ourselves and you keep the money.
  • We may take it back. Where the completion should not have been paid, we may remove the amount from your balance.
  • We may recover it from future earnings. If your balance does not cover it, the shortfall is recorded as an amount owed and we recover it from a share of what you earn afterwards, oldest case first. The share is currently 50% of new offer and survey earnings, and the product shows you the amount outstanding and how much is being applied. You can still withdraw the rest of your balance while this is happening.
We will not pursue you personally for a shortfall, take payment from you, or send a recovery to a debt collector. Recovery only ever comes out of future EarnX earnings, and if you never earn again we simply write it off.

We may also correct a credit that was wrong because of a bug, a pricing error, a duplicate postback or a partner mistake. Deliberately exploiting such an error is a breach of these terms.

Withdrawals

You can withdraw your available balance using any payout method we offer in your country. Methods currently include PayPal, cryptocurrency, gift cards and Roblox, and the list changes over time.

Minimums and fees

Each method has its own minimum, and some carry a processing fee charged by the payout provider or the network. The minimum and any fee are shown next to the amount before you confirm, and the figure you confirm is what leaves your balance. We do not add a fee of our own on top of the one displayed.

Limits and review

  • There is a rolling weekly withdrawal limit. The amount and the reset date are shown when you hit it.
  • Some withdrawals are sent automatically and some are reviewed by a person first. A review normally adds hours rather than days.
  • We may hold a withdrawal while we investigate a suspected breach of these terms. If we do, we will tell you it is held and you can ask for it to be looked at again.

Getting your details right

Payouts go to the destination you give us. Check it. We cannot recover money sent to a wallet address, PayPal account or email address that you entered incorrectly. Saved payout destinations cannot be edited for this reason: to change one you delete it and add it again.

If a payout fails at the provider, tell us and we will either retry it or return the amount to your balance.

Identity verification

We may ask you to verify your identity before releasing a withdrawal, and we may make that a condition of continued access. This normally happens when our fraud checks flag an account or a withdrawal looks unusual.

Verification is a face scan run by our provider. Before it runs we tell you exactly what is collected, what it is for and how long it is kept, and you have to agree separately. Full detail is in our Biometric Data Policy.

You can refuse the scan. If you do, your withdrawal goes to a person to review instead. It takes longer, but refusing does not cost you your balance and does not close your account.

No decision that holds your money or closes your account rests on an automated score alone. You can always ask for a human to review it, put your side, and have the decision reconsidered.

Bonuses and promotions

  • Bonuses, welcome offers and promotional credits are granted at our discretion and can have their own conditions, which we show you at the time.
  • A bonus is not earned money. We may withdraw or remove an unearned bonus if the conditions are not met, or if it was obtained through a breach of these terms.
  • Money you actually earned by completing offers, surveys and tasks is never removed as part of a bonus forfeiture.
  • Promotions can be changed or ended at any time. Doing so does not affect a bonus you have already properly qualified for.

Referrals

You can invite people. When someone signs up with your code and reaches the thresholds shown on the invite page, you receive a bonus, and afterwards a percentage of what they earn.

  • Referral payments are held briefly before release, so that reversals can settle first.
  • You may not refer yourself, create accounts to refer, or use paid advertising that misrepresents EarnX. Doing any of these forfeits the referral payments and can cost you your account.
  • You may not offer people money or anything else to sign up under your code unless we have agreed it in writing.
  • We can change the referral rates for the future. Individual partner arrangements may differ from the published scheme.

Our separate affiliate programme for publishers and creators has its own terms, which apply instead of this section for those partners.

Battles

Battles is a head to head Rock Paper Scissors game where two users each stake an amount from their balance and the winner takes the pot.

  • How the pot works. Both players stake the same amount. We retain a fee, and the winner receives the rest. The fee is 10% of the total pot, and the exact numbers are shown before you commit to a game.
  • Timers. You have a short time to make each move. If you do not move in time, a move is made for you at random and the round resolves. Do not start a game you cannot finish.
  • Unjoined games. If nobody joins your game it expires and your stake is returned.
  • Results are final. Once a game resolves, the result stands. We do not reverse a completed game because of a disconnection, a slow connection or a device problem at your end.
  • Where it is available. Battles is not offered in every country. It is currently withheld in Poland, and we may withhold it elsewhere for legal reasons without notice.
  • Anti collusion. Arranging the outcome of a game with another user, or playing against an account you also control, is fraud. It forfeits the stakes involved and we will close the accounts.
Battles risks money you have earned. Only stake what you would be comfortable losing, and stop if it stops being fun. If you would like your access to Battles removed, email [email protected] and we will turn it off for your account.

Giveaways, leagues and competitions

We run giveaways, leaderboards, leagues, tournaments and chat rewards. These are promotional and we fund the prizes ourselves.

  • No purchase is ever necessary. Everything that earns entries can be earned by using EarnX normally, and you never pay us money to enter.
  • Each competition tells you what it costs to enter (if anything), how winners are chosen, how many there are and what they get. Where winners are drawn at random, the draw is random. Where placings are earned, they are based on the activity the competition names.
  • Accounts that are banned, that are too new, or that our checks flag as linked to other accounts, do not place and do not win.
  • Prizes are credited to your balance or fulfilled manually, depending on the competition. If we cannot reach you or deliver a prize after reasonable attempts, we may award it elsewhere.
  • Competitions are void where local law prohibits them, and we may cancel one if it cannot be run fairly. If we cancel one that had an entry cost, we return the entries.
  • We may disqualify an entry we reasonably believe was obtained by cheating, automation or multiple accounts.

What you must not do

This list is what gets accounts closed. Most of it exists because our partners reverse payment when it happens, which means the whole platform pays for it.

  • Hold more than one account, or use someone else's account.
  • Complete offers on another person's account, or let anyone complete offers on yours.
  • Use a VPN, proxy, VPS, emulator, virtual machine or device farm to appear to be somewhere you are not or someone you are not.
  • Use bots, scripts, macros, autofill tools or automation of any kind to complete offers, surveys or games.
  • Give false information in a survey, rush answers, or answer without reading. Researchers detect this and reverse it.
  • Use fake, temporary or disposable email addresses, or phone numbers from VOIP and virtual number services, to complete offers.
  • Refer yourself, or create accounts in order to refer them.
  • Exploit a bug, pricing error or duplicate credit rather than reporting it.
  • Collude with another user to fix the outcome of a game or a competition.
  • Harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone, or post anything unlawful, hateful or sexual in chat or in anything you submit.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, overload or attack the service, or try to get access to parts of it you are not entitled to.
  • Use EarnX for money laundering or any unlawful purpose.

Content you post

This covers chat messages, guides, bounty and clip submissions, support messages and anything else you send us or post.

  • It stays yours. You give us a non exclusive, worldwide, royalty free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and adapt it so that we can run the service, and where you submitted it to be published, to publish and promote it. The licence lasts as long as we need it for those purposes.
  • You confirm it is yours to give, that it does not infringe anyone else's rights, and that it does not break the rules above.
  • We can remove or edit anything that breaks these terms, and we can decline to publish a submission without giving a reason.
  • Where we pay for a submission, the amount is the one we tell you when we accept it.

If you believe something on EarnX infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the work concerned, where it appears, your contact details, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them. We will remove infringing material and repeatedly infringing accounts.

Suspension and closing accounts

You can leave whenever you want

Close your account from your profile settings, or email us. Withdraw your balance first: once the account is closed we cannot pay out what is left on it.

When we can suspend or close an account

We can suspend or close an account immediately, without notice, where we reasonably believe that:

  • you have breached What you must not do;
  • the account is involved in fraud, or in laundering money;
  • the account is a duplicate, or is being operated by or for someone else;
  • the account holder is under 18;
  • we are required to by law, a court, or a regulator; or
  • continuing to provide the service would expose us or our partners to legal or financial risk.

Otherwise we will give you reasonable notice before closing your account, and we will tell you why.

What happens to your balance

Suspending or closing an account does not automatically take your balance. Money you genuinely earned remains payable, and we will pay it out. What we can withhold and remove is any balance traceable to a breach of these terms: the proceeds of fraud, of duplicate accounts, of collusion, of exploiting an error, or of completions our partners have reversed. If part of a balance is legitimate and part is not, we pay the legitimate part.

If you disagree with a suspension, a closure or a decision about your balance, email [email protected]. A person will review it, you can put your side, and we will tell you the outcome and the substance of the reasons for it.

Tax

What you earn on EarnX may be taxable where you live. You are responsible for working out whether it is, declaring it, and paying it. We do not give tax advice.

We may need to collect tax information from you, or report payments to a tax authority, where the law requires it. If we ask for that information and you do not provide it, we may not be able to keep paying you.

Third party offers and links

Offers, surveys, tasks and advertisements on EarnX come from third parties. When you start one you leave our service and their terms and privacy policy apply.

  • We do not control what a third party asks you to do, what it charges, or what it does with your information.
  • Some offers involve spending your own money, for example an in app purchase or a deposit. Those are entirely your decision and at your own risk, and the higher reward does not change that. Read what an offer requires before you start it.
  • We are not responsible for a third party's products, services or conduct, and we do not endorse them by listing them. We will help you chase a partner who has not credited you.
  • A partner changing its own terms is not something we control.

Availability and changes

We try to keep EarnX running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may carry out maintenance.

We can change these terms. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will give you at least 30 days notice by email or a notice on the site before it takes effect, and you can close your account and withdraw your balance if you do not accept it. Changes required by law may take effect sooner. Other changes take effect when posted.

Our intellectual property

EarnX, its name, logo, design and software belong to us or our licensors, and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws. You may use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy our branding, or hold yourself out as us or as connected with us, without our written permission.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, for loss of profit, business or opportunity, or for loss caused by a third party partner failing to track, validate or credit a task.

Also subject to the first paragraph, our total liability to you for all claims connected with your use of EarnX in any 12 month period is limited to the greater of the total amount we paid out to you in that period and 100 US dollars. This does not cap a balance you have properly earned and are entitled to be paid.

EarnX is provided as it is. We do not promise that any particular offer will be available to you, that a partner will credit you, or that you will earn any particular amount.

Complaints and disputes

If something has gone wrong, tell us first. Most problems are a tracking failure or a held transaction and we can usually sort them out.

  1. Contact support through the Support tab in the app, or email [email protected]. Give your account email, what happened and when.
  2. We aim to reply within seven business days.
  3. If you are not happy with the answer, reply and ask for it to be escalated. Someone more senior will look at it and give you a final response, normally within a further five business days.

Nothing in this section stops you going to court, or to a regulator or ombudsman where one is available to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts if the law where you live gives you that right.

General

  • If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • Not enforcing something straight away does not mean we have given up the right to enforce it later.
  • We may transfer our rights and obligations to another company, for example if the business is sold. This will not reduce your rights. You may not transfer yours without our consent.
  • These terms, and the policies they refer to, are the whole agreement between us about EarnX.
  • Nobody other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms.
  • We send notices to the email address on your account, so keep it current.
  • These terms are written in English. A translation is provided for convenience only, and the English version prevails if there is a conflict.
